Friday Fromage at L'Ecole No 41
Friday Fromage brings a monthly deep-dive into the world of artisan cheese—expertly paired with L’Ecole No 41 wines. Each event features David from Big John’s PFI, one of Seattle’s most knowledgeable and engaging cheese educators. Guests will explore five carefully selected cheeses while David shares the stories, science, and craftsmanship behind each one, paired seamlessly with L’Ecole wines. All cheeses will be available for purchase after the event.

Aperitivo Class with Paola Albanese
Join us on PFI's exclusive rooftop terrace for an authentic Italian aperitivo experience, the kind you'd stumble into on a warm evening in Bologna or Venice, where the drinks are bitter and bright, the bites are simple and perfect, and time slows down just enough.
Italian aperitivo is more than happy hour. It's a ritual, a way of gathering, tasting, and unwinding that has been perfected over generations. Together with Seattle cooking instructor Paola Albanesi, we're bringing that ritual to life on a summer August evening, where the best of Italian tradition meets the best of what the Pacific Northwest season has to offer.
Sip a Cappelletti Spritz or a Figlia Spritz as the sun sets over Seattle, or let our thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic option give you the full aperitivo experience without the alcohol. Graze on seasonal cicchetti that celebrate the best of summer, paired with the Italian pantry staples that make PFI special. Along the way, you'll learn what makes a real Italian spritz, how to build an aperitivo spread that feels effortless and impressive at home, and how just a few extraordinary ingredients, the right olive oil, the right cured meat, the right aperitivo, can completely transform the way you entertain.
